Important volume management, hearing protection rules, equipment disclaimers, and physical hardware boundaries.

1. Human Hearing Safety & Volume Precautions

Fix My Speaker Cleaner Now operates by generating acoustic sound waves at elevated pressure levels. Because sound cleaning relies on high-amplitude diaphragm displacement to move physical water droplets and dust, proper volume management is essential to prevent auditory fatigue or discomfort.

🚨 CRITICAL HEARING SAFETY WARNING: The tool requires setting your device volume to high levels (75% to 100%) to function effectively. NEVER hold active speakers, upper earpieces, or earbuds directly against your human ears, eyes, or face while cleaning cycles are playing. Exposure to loud continuous tones (especially 165 Hz to 500 Hz frequencies) at close range can cause temporary hearing discomfort or auditory strain.

Hearing Protection Protocols:

  • Safe Distance: Maintain a distance of at least arm’s length (18–24 inches) between your ears and the device speaker during tone playback.
  • Earbuds & Headphones (AirPods, Galaxy Buds, Beats): Always take earbuds out of your ears BEFORE starting any cleaning cycle. Place earbuds on a flat surface or hold them away from your body.
  • Upper Earpiece Cleaning: When cleaning the top call speaker on a smartphone, point the top of the phone away from your face and downward toward the floor.
  • Pets & Animals: Cats, dogs, and domestic pets have highly sensitive hearing capable of detecting ultrasonic and high-frequency resonances. Keep animals out of the room while running frequency sweeps above 500 Hz.

2. Frequency Mechanics & Device Speaker Safety

Our tool uses the client-side Web Audio API to generate synthetic mathematical sine wave frequencies. All generated frequencies are fully within the normal operating frequency response range of commercial loudspeakers.

How Frequency Modes Affect Speaker Hardware:

  • 165 Hz Sustained Tone (Water Ejection): 165 Hz is a low-frequency bass tone. Standard smartphone speaker voice coils and flexible membranes are engineered to play bass frequencies from 100 Hz to 200 Hz during normal music playback. The tone does not overload or blow healthy speaker hardware.
  • 200 Hz – 500 Hz Logarithmic Sweep (Dust Removal): Sweeping frequencies rapidly shift acoustic resonance across the frequency spectrum. This continuous variation prevents static thermal buildup in the voice coil while thoroughly agitating dust particles.
  • 100 Hz – 130 Hz Bass & Haptic Pulse (Vibration Assist): Uses low-register pulses that trigger the device’s internal linear resonant actuator (vibration motor) on supported mobile devices. This is identical to incoming phone call vibrations.

Hardware Safety Assurance: Playing pure sine waves through your speaker at maximum volume is functionally identical to listening to a bass-heavy music track at 100% volume. It does NOT modify device firmware, install software, or exceed manufacturer hardware design limits.

3. Liquid Exposure Limits & Chemistry Disclaimers

Acoustic ejection is a physical mechanical aid designed to expel liquid held by surface tension in exterior mesh openings. It is NOT a chemical neutralizer or a cure for deep internal liquid corrosion.

A. Liquid Type Risk Levels:

🟢 Fresh Water (Rain, Tap Water)

Lowest risk. Fresh water leaves minimal mineral residue after evaporation. Running Water Eject mode immediately after exposure yields optimal results, restoring clarity in 1–3 cycles.

🟡 Chlorinated Pool Water

Moderate risk. Chlorine leaves a thin film on speaker membranes as moisture evaporates. Run 3–4 cycles of Water Eject followed by Dust Sweep to break up chemical deposits.

🔴 Salt Water (Ocean, Sea Spray, Drinks)

Highest risk. Salt and sugars evaporate into highly corrosive, conductive crystals. While acoustic ejection pushes out surface saltwater, salt crystals bridges can short electronics. If exposed to ocean water, gently damp-rinse the external mesh with distilled water before running the tool, or consult a repair shop immediately.

B. Uncovered Hardware Defects (When Sound Cannot Help):

Acoustic sound waves cannot resolve physical structural failures, including:

  • Physical tears, cracks, or punctures in the speaker diaphragm membrane.
  • Burned or short-circuited speaker voice coils caused by electrical surges while wet.
  • Corrosion on internal motherboard components caused by prolonged liquid immersion.
  • Water trapped inside Lightning or USB-C charging ports (sound waves only clean acoustic speaker ports).

4. Limitation of Legal & Hardware Liability

THIS ACOUSTIC UTILITY IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. USE OF THE TOOL IS AT THE USER’S SOLE DISCRETION AND RISK.

NEITHER FIX MY SPEAKER CLEANER NOW NOR ITS FOUNDER AND LEAD ENGINEER (SAMI ULLAH) SHALL BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PRE-EXISTING HARDWARE FAILURE, SECONDARY LIQUID DAMAGE, AUDITORY DISCOMFORT, OR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT COSTS INCURRED BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER USING THIS WEBSITE.
